Pick a blank Unicode character, set how many you need and copy the result. The Braille pattern blank, U+2800, is the one most apps keep: it looks empty but is a real character, so one copy counts as 1 character and 3 bytes in UTF-8. Five Hangul fillers come to 15 bytes.
Chat apps, game lobbies and profile forms often refuse an empty name or message, and they collapse ordinary spaces. A blank Unicode character gets past that, because the software sees a real symbol while the screen shows nothing. This generator gives you four such characters, the Braille pattern blank, the Hangul filler, the zero width space and the no-break space, repeated as many times as you set. Next to the copyable text it lists the code point, the official Unicode name, the character count and the size in UTF-8 bytes, which matters for fields with byte limits. UTF-8 stores code points from U+0080 to U+07FF in two bytes and from U+0800 to U+FFFF in three, so the byte size is the count times that width. All four characters sit in the Basic Multilingual Plane, so each is a single UTF-16 code unit, which is how JavaScript and many form limits count length.
The Braille pattern blank, U+2800, is accepted by the widest range of apps because it is classed as a symbol rather than whitespace, so trimming code leaves it alone. The Hangul filler is the usual second choice.
The font on that device has no glyph for the character, so it draws a placeholder. The Hangul filler is the most common culprit on systems without Korean fonts.
Many forms strip zero width and formatting characters on input to stop spam and spoofing. Use the Braille blank or Hangul filler when that happens.
A no-break space takes 2 bytes in UTF-8, and the other three take 3 bytes each. Ten Braille blanks are 30 bytes, which matters for fields limited by bytes rather than characters.
